In my Research I have found that in all of my T’s if you take the number above the T-number and add 9 you will get the same number as the T-number, and if you take the one above that and add 18 you get the T-number, and if you take the one to the left of that one and add 19 you get the T-number, and if you take the number furthest to the right and add 17 that also adds up to the same amount as the T-number.

After all my extensive research I have found the formula that will change any T- number in to it’s T-total…

                                         T-total = T+ (T-9) + (T-18) + (T-19) + (N-17)

If we note the same form of table we have used before, we can find the "magic number", the above graph shows a vertical translation of the T-Shape by +3, were v=46, t =210 which translates to, v=16, t=60. Middle number (v)

  2. T-total Investigation

    T - 21 + T - 20 + T - 19 + T - 18 + T - 10 + T = 7T - 110 I will now check to see if this formula works. T = 57 T-total = 7 x 57 - 110 = 289 57 + 47

Establishing this, every square moved along the x-axis is equal to the x difference between the origin and the centre of rotation, in this case 3. It is the same with the y difference so that every square moved along the y-axis is, in this instance -1.

As height is the variable I will have to put it into the equation, I have decided to put it at the beginning. To work out the final rule I will have to put that into a current total. For Height4: [H(4L-9)] 4(4L-9)
