Music Promotion In this essay I am going to analyse a MySpace page of the artist Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 ? March 9, 1997), best known as The Notorious B.I.G., was an American rapper and hip hop artist. He was also known as The Notorious BIG and his video Juicy the video was released in 1994 from the album ready to die. The song is considered as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time. The song has sold over 5,607,000 copies. The song is a rags-to-riches story [specifying his early years in poverty, his initial dreams of becoming a rap artist and early influences, his time in drugs and crime, and his eventual success in the music business and current lavish lifestyle. This artist NOTORIOUS BIG is part of the gangster artists in the hip hop genre during the 90?s era. is becoming a lot more famous and successful he still acknowledges the poverty and distress he went through to earn his place as one of the best rappers of his time. Also you notice the name THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G because of the style of his font which is in a police type font and this could imply that he was wanted for various crimes because he was a gangster rapper and during his time there was more racial abuse so because of his colour he was more wanted. In ?Juicy" is the title of a single by American hip hop artist The Notorious B.I.G. and his solo debut single from his 1994 debut album Ready to Die. Conclusion

as we can barely see him in the crowd. Next biggie is walking down the street to use the phone were two people who are minding their business suddenly notice him then at that moment they stop and acknowledge him as a sign of respect this in a medium shot. A couple of seconds later we biggies mother who is looking at a popular magazine and is smiling because she is overwhelmed at the fact that her son is on a magazine and a celebrity this also indicates that they have come out of poverty due to the success of her which also could be why she is smiling this a close up shot so we can feel more empathy for her. Finally we see biggie with his entourage partying because they are finally having a good time because of biggie this could mean that he is sort of a saviour to them this is done with a wide shot. ...read more.
