What I think that we need to see happening in small and large communities all across the world is community service. It's a positive way of making the community a better place for everyone. The best a person can do is donating their time to volunteer and help out with community services. Community service helps me to understand the usefulness and importance of helping other. I've took part in these organizations knowing that I could offer time to my community because I had the opportunity to help. Helping to provide food for needy people, helping the elderly, raising money and donating goods for those who need it and cleaning up the environment are some examples of what I did with the organizations that I joined. Getting involved lets me become a more valuable citizen and sets a good example for younger generations to come. Beyond a doubt, volunteering benefits all who are involved. It's a great way for me to get involved and can truly make a difference in people's lives. Helping the community through community service is very important to me.
