Jesus quoted from Psalm 22. He said the psalm because the psalm is a prayer of angish and a calling for God he help and at the end of the psalm God helps. This was the only part of the pslam that jesus said everyone else would have known the end of it. Christians should follow this and do as he did because he is the god who they follow him because that is what he did. But by doing this he was resurrected and ascended to heaven "Don't be alarmed ""you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen."
