Is the bible a reliable foundation for Christian morality?

As a Christian, I believe that the bible is the ultimate truth. The bible is basically a set of rules as to how we live our everyday lives. This is the point I will highlight in this essay and I will describe how it affects us as humans. But what is morality? Morality is the way in which people live their lives and the way we act towards other people. These are set out as rules in the bible and Christians follow this as a basis for living.

In the Bible, it talks about the different tasks set by God to different people such as Abraham, Moses and Noah. They all obeyed gods rules and regulations and even though they seemed impossible at the beginning, they turned out good in the end. All these things have a great effect on the way we live our lives. Christians take great importance to these stories, as they show us how to trust God and his decisions he has for us.

These are probably the most important passages in the bible to read for Christians as they show us the way to live our lives and how to act to other people correctly. In the bible it tells us to live our lives as Jesus would have and to do what he did. To the non-believer this sounds completely impossible. They might think, how are we supposed to help the blind see, to raise the dead? Its impossible to live like Jesus. But what it actually means is to follow the main principals Jesus has shown us and to be kind and loving to other people. Jesus tells us stories which link to everyday life as it was then, and each story has a moral at the end of it.

Basically this is talking about the kingdom being like a mustard seed. When you go and preach the word of ...
