With so much controversy surrounding the day that people should go to church to worship God we should probably forget about going at all and stay at home on Saturday and Sunday. Discuss your views.

        Each generation has its own way of thinking and today they are very big gaps between the old generation, people between the ages of 30-60, and the new generation, people between the ages of 13-29. Each generation has its own beliefs.

The old generation believes that you must dress properly when you go to church, you must wear a suit and tie and short pants, baggies and tops that girls wear are positively not allowed, especially not short skirts. But God says that he loves us all and would he love us any less if we were to wear clothes that feel comfortable when we go to the crowded church to worship him early in the morning?                                                 A lot of the young generation are also starting to use going to church on Sundays as a liming spot. They go and meet all of their friends, and some even go to meet girls, to talk and discuss what they did on the weekend. Now, what is the sense of asking your child to go if you know that when he says “Sure Mom of course I will” that all he is going to go to church and do is talk to his friends and not listen to a thing the preacher is saying? Instead of all of this they could have stayed home and read the bible or sit down and pray in a nice quiet cozy place in the corner without any distractions.

        Religious groups are just organizations with man made rules things that are usually 'tucked away' in the constitution by-laws or doctrine and creed. Most who attend are not even aware of these man-made statements. My belief is not in man made statements, it is in the infallible word of God. It is not what, organization you belong to or whether you go to church on Sunday or Saturday or no day at all but rather it is a personal relationship with the Lord.

Many churches burden the people too much and these things are not biblical. It’s not biblical to put burdens on the sheep. Going to church on a Sunday morning should be something that you want to do from the bottom of your heart and not something that is a burden to you.
