Electrons: These are negatively charged particles that form a series of shells around the nucleus. These particles are very small and have little mass. However, it is possible to compare their masses using a relative scale. Their charges can also be compared in a similar way. The proton and neutron have the same mass, and the proton and electron have opposite charges. The response to the question is done to a basic level. The basic chemistry behind the cells is explained well, but the structure is not related to their biological function very well, and this should be expanded upon and further information included to increase the value of this essay.

Level of analysis

The contents page is good because it means that the contents of the essay and the discussion to take place is easy to read. Arrangements of electrons are described accurately and well. The history of atomic structure is not very well explained and the function of neutrons, protons and electrons could be defined better to link it easier to their biological function. The biology is poorly explained.

Quality of writing

Punctuation, grammar and spelling are all to a good basic level. Format of the essay is clear, but text types should be consistent so that the essay layout is neater and more professional.
