In other words, there had to be a foundation in which to help us start discovering these rules and laws. Just as Henri Poincaré stated “science is built with facts just as a house is built with bricks, but a collection of facts cannot be called a science any more than a pile of bricks can be called a house.” Facts such as something will fall to the ground after holding it up in the air and letting go of it are what proves that these laws do not exist only in our minds but in reality, and they are what make up science. That fact causes the scientific community to ask questions and in the attempt of answering these questions the laws are born.

According to Richard Feynman “observation, reason, and experiment make up what we call the scientific method.” It is not possible that the rules and laws governing the world exist only in our minds because it has to go through the process of observation, reason, and experimenting before presenting it to the public. Back to the example of gravity, Isaac Newton first observed the apple fall out of the tree, he then tried to find a reason to why the apple fell to the ground. Finally, by experimenting he came up with the law of gravity that has existed for over ...
