How I will Make It Fair:
I will make my test fair by repeating results measuring accurately, timing accurately and not spilling the water and finally using the same kind of bubble rap that is similar to all the other layers that I have used.
Control:
The way I will make sure that nothing else affects the temperature is by starting the water at the same temperature as all the others. Things that I will not be able to control is how room temperature that will affect the final temperature. If I had any thing that I wanted and money was not a issue then I would use a room with a controlled temperature.
Layers That I Will Be Investigating:
The layers that I will be investigating are 0, 1, 2,3,4,5 and 10 to compare and see it the line of best fit is correct.
Apparatus That I Will Be Using:

Trial:
To test what number of layers I could go up to I did some preliminary work, I did 7 layers, 11 layers and 15 layers. After this I did one more and I did 10 layers. This I also did as many times as it took to get two results that are the same. The results shoed to me that after 11 layers the temperatures did not vary very much at all.
Results Of Trials:
This shows that after about 10 layers the temperatures stay very similar. There for we only did up to 6 layers and then we did 10 again just to compare with the rest
Results:
This is correct in my opinion and according to my prediction because the more layers of bubble rap the higher the temperature stays.

Patterns:
There are no real patterns in my results except that the more raps that are put on the less heat it loses. Also there is another small pattern because even though there is still a gap in between the temperatures as you get more raps on the gap gets closer as more raps are added to the beaker. This is shown on the graph as the line of best fit starts almost horizontal and then when it finishes it is almost vertical.
Definite Variables:
There is defiantly relationship between the two variable that we have been investigating. I know this because there are small patterns in the results that I have mentioned earlier.
Conclusion:
My conclusion is that there is very defiantly a relationship between the two variable that I have been investigating. Therefore I know that it need further investigations to be done to find out the extent of the relationship between the variables. From this I think that I have proved that there is a relationship between the variables but I do not think that I have investigated enough and got accurate enough results to say for definite that there is or isn’t correlation between them right up to 100s of layers of raps. Also I think that there will be a more definite relationship and pattern that I would need to investigate more fully to find it out better. I believe that my prediction was just about right but I did not expect that even no layers would fall so little and there for I did not expect the smaller gap between the temperatures at that had more layers instead of the bigger gap that was shown when there where no layers.
