INTRODUCTION
According to World Development Indicators report 2002 of the World Bank, growth refers to the economic enhancement of a nation with regards to the size of its economy. Population, land area, income and output are the basic measures of a size of the economy. They provide a broad indication of actual and potential resources. Therefore, population, land area, income - as measured by Gross National Income (GNI) - and output - as measured by Gross National Product (GDP) - are used in most development indicators to normalise other indicators.
Economic growth rate is the pace at which economic growth increases during a given interval. The quantities most commonly used to measure economic growth rate are Gross National Product (GNP)
