Dear Sir/ Madam,
First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Le Ha Phuong. I am 21 years old. I was born in a family of five (my parents, my two brothers and I). My parents always pay close attention to us, especially in education. Since we were little and my father was far away from home for his business, we had always been in my mother’s affectionate and strict care. I have been trying my best to study hard, for my self of course and I considered it as a valuable present for my parents as well. So far, I have gained not a few achievements.
It can be said that my education up to now is quite satisfactory. I had the opportunity to study at mathematics specialized secondary and high schools, which are far from my home. Thanks to encouragement of my family and my teacher and my great effort, I had usually been at the top of the class and gained many high prizes in inter - school, intercity and national competitions in Math. My first prize was the gold medal in the inter-city Math competition for ninth- form students. After graduating from the gift Tran Phu high school with excellent result, I passed the entrance exams to two of the most prestigious Universities in Vietnam , namely the Foreign Trade University and the Commerce University. I am now third-year student at Foreign Trade University with Foreign Trade Economics Faculty. English, especially English for Business purposes is one of my main subjects at the University. My major is Foreign Trade; therefore, I have been acquiring some knowledge about International trends in Business and global economics. Looking back at the situation in my country, since 1986, my country has been in the renovation process with door- opened and flexible policies. The new policies create both opportunities and challenges, notably when Vietnam is trying hard to integrate into the global economy. More than ever, it needs young and talent people with deep knowledge and experience in global business. Thus, I would like to be admitted to the first year of the Art of Economics of Amsterdam University, where I can not only enrich my knowledge but also see the global business and operation in reality. Hopefully, that will be a firm foundation for me to make a little contribution to the bright future of my country.
