Smoking is not a Right

Experts say the results of the surveys, which are conducted to learn what smokers think about a “smoking ban”,  may be misleading because the smokers who say “Not all the smokers will accept the ban.” may be one of those opposing smokers in fact. They may be ashamed to confess that they are opposed to a “smoking ban”. According to experts another issue to consider is the facilities which should be provided to legistate this ban. A sociologist complains ; “Everyone is talking  about the ban but nobody is thinking how it can be possible. The only way to ban smoking is to establish isolated centers which have filters. A complete ban is impossible because there are many people who work in this industry.” What about “executioners” who lost their jobs after the abolishment of death penalty? Should we feel sorry about them too? Should we provide them “job fields” ?

There are also non-smokers who work in cigarette factories - Just like the farmers who don’t eat the vegetables he sells because of the hormone the vegetables contain- Almost all of them don’t agree with a ban. When other non-smokers were asked they said it would be wonderful to live in a non-smoker world. They are all unpleasant about being a passive smoker. Some of them tried the persuade their friends to quit smoking but only a few of them managed. The other smokers , who didn’t accept their friends’ suggestion, must be waiting for a heart attack.

To sum up, everybody thinks the government should ban smoking but nobody believes that it can be possible. Maybe this is the reason of failure. Why don’t we try believing? Do we really want it? Have any of us really thought about it or are we just copying the things that we heard from the television?
