Macbeth and his wife are very ambitious and they both wants to become king and queen of Scotland. From the moment Macbeth and Banqou meets the three witches they make Macbeth obsessed with thoughts of becoming the Thane of Cawdor and the King of Scotland. It fuels his ambitious to become king of Scotland, because the witch’s prediction becomes true when King Duncan reward Macbeth for his bravery, and pronounce his the Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth wife has a great influence on Macbeth and she is highly ambitious to become the queen. King Duncan goes to visit Macbeth and Macbeth’s wife manipulates him to kill king Duncan, but Macbeth refuse to kill him, because Macbeth is known as a hero in the eyes of king Duncan and is also loved and honoured by King Duncan, but eventually his wife force to kill him and when he kills King Duncan from that moment he changes from a hero into a traitor.
After Macbeth Kills King Duncan he becomes evil. His next act of evil is when kills his best friend Banqou. The reason he kills Banqou is, because he is jealous of Banqou and Banqou has a son called Fleance. The three witches also predicted that Fleance would become the king of Scotland. After Macbeth kills Banqou his son Fleance escapes. Banqou is also suspicious of Macbeth. He suspects Macbeth of killing King Duncan. Macbeth feels insecure, because he committed an act of evil by killing King Duncan and he thinks someone will do the same to him.
After the murder of Banqou, Macbeth decides he will commit any act, however evil, that furthers his own interests. Macbeth invites all the noble people of Scotland for his coronation feast. His next enemy is Macduff, because he failed to attend Macbeth coronation feast and that makes Macbeth suspicious. Macbeth decides to seek out the three weird sisters to find out about his future. He drinks a magic potion and has hallucinations. One of the ghosts tells him to be aware of Macduff. The witches eventually vanish and Lennox comes to greet Macbeth with further news about Macduff. Lennox tells Macbeth that Macduff has escaped to England. He is scared of being assassinated by Macbeth; in revenge Macbeth kills Macduff wife, his children and his servants.
At the end of the play Macbeth is completely changed. He was a hero and now he is villain. Everyone hates him for his evil acts. Macbeth is a tyrant and everyone fears for him. Macduff who escaped to England decides to take revenge of Macbeth with the help of the English. Macduff attacks the Castle of Macbeth. He fights with Macbeth one by one and eventually Macduff cuts Macbeth’s head.
