Apple stores thousands of customer's information and would lose a lot of them if their information went missing or ended up in the wrong hands. Ideas and designs can take years to do and losing them would be very costly and could set them back years in the production cycle. This is the main reason why Apple set up a back-up system which constantly saves files in case a problem arises. ? Health and Safety .Apple also has regulations for computer usage where RSI can occur. Apples employees that work with securing information are working on computers and screens all day. Apple will need to check with finance to make sure that they have enough money to obtain this software and equipment. As apple gains more information they may need additional resources in the form, of employees or equipment. Apple will need to assess the cost of development for protecting information; this will mean they will need to employee a department that control the protection of information. ? Increasing Sophistication Apple as a company will need to increase the fluidity and sophistication of customer access to their own information while keeping it protected. They will need to keep protection but still allow access. They will need to create software that allows this process. In conclusion Apple must follow many policies' to keep information safe and secure from system failure and hackers. They will need to employee people to work in a security department where they keep internal and external information safe. They will need to follow the health and safety policy.
