"In conclusion I think that both drugs leaflets are to an extent effective at using and subverting genres in order to attract a specific target audience. However I feel that 'The Score' was the most successful at attracting a specific target audience through its use of several borrowed generic features found in teenage magazines, the Internet, scientific text books, and various others."
Discuss a performance you have seen where the acting or the staging was effective.
"In conclusion I would say that there were many simple but effective staging ideas within this performance. Each of these ideas managed to increase the tension or change the atmosphere and mood in both the audience and on stage. They also helped the performance to be more realistic, which was harder in this play as there was only two actors, however, it was done well. "The importance of forms and conventions are what helped to achieve a positive result from the audience. However, all CD covers consist of unique ideas about their ideology and genre. As we have seen in this essay, we know that Kylie Monogue's CD cover consist of forms and conventions that relate to her target audience which is young men and teenagers. As an audience, we know what we like in specific genres and that is why music institutions come up with different ideas for covers to suit everyone."
