One of the examples being her saying “Good afternoon.” to which he responds with “Hi’. Here is the very noticeable change of the use of language and tone, which may create a tense atmosphere between the two characters. A further example of the informal dialogue would be her saying “Ok, Sir. No problem. Could you please let me see some ID” to which the response is “Sure”. This use of language represents the

contrast in formalities between the two characters, emphasising the division in their attitudes towards each other.

In conclusion, the text conveys the significance and value of a strong relationship between father and daughter through the use of contrasting language, bold writing and more, to draw attention to the matters being explored in the text. The important beliefs in this play script are that father relationships are just as important as mother and daughter relationships. Furthermore the main concept of the entirety of the text lays around a banking finance metaphor which evidently emphasises the point Fatherhood Admin was trying to convey to a greater extent, due to the storyline being an active example for the reader to relate to. Therefore, the overall message being conducted displays how some fathers will show a lack of effort towards their daughter from a young age. As a result, in most cases their daughters will reciprocate this in later life as that emotional connection wasn’t established earlier on.
