FOX HUNTING

Fifteen horses trot through a silent forest, each carrying a person on its back. A large group of dogs follow on leads. The sun has risen on the horizon and light filters in through the treetops. The woods ring with the sound of birds singing. Ants scurry along the ground and monkeys jump from tree to tree.

Suddenly the dogs start growling. All the horsemen sit up and look around them. After scanning the trees, one of them spot a fox running away. He shouts out an order and the dogs are released. As soon as the leads are off the hounds race off after the fox. They close in on it.

The dogs are getting excited by the heavy breathing and panting of the vulnerable fox. Thick drops of tears fall from the eyes of the poor creature. Its eyes seem to ask, “Why am I being hunted down like this? What wrong have I done?”

The hounds close in on the animal and one of them pounces, ripping it’s back open. The fox’s painful cry echoes throughout the woods. It’s legs buckle and the fox falls down, too weak to move. The hounds surround the fox hungrily, saliva dripping from their flea-infested mouths.

One of them pounces on the fox and the rest follow suit. It’s moans are cut short when the creature throat is ripped open. Warm blood gushes out, staining the ground. The hounds cut open the fox and it’s intestines are torn out of it’s body. All this time the riders just sit on their horses with unmistakable amusement clearly etched on their inhuman faces.

When their bloodthirsty hounds finally withdraw, all that is left is the unidentifiable carcass of an innocent creature (with it’s tongue and eyes ripped out and lying by it’s side). One of the riders comes up to the fox and chops it’s tail off, to be carried off as a trophy!

Shocked at the true reality of ‘fox hunting’? Well, this fox was just one out of 25,000 foxes that are massacred every year for the pure entertainment of some rich, retarded and selfish humans. The horrific, cruel, evil and intolerably brutish murder of these vulnerable foxes have been going for more than 366 years. Will you stand for these excruciatingly painful and sinister killings for human entertainment? I know I won’t.

Opinion is divided as to whether fox hunting should or should not be banned. I think either fox hunting should be banned or the people that do it should be thrown into the cages of wild rabid dogs. That’ll give them a taste of what it’s like. I am totally against fox hunting and the people that do it.

Foxes are living things. They have a right to live on this earth. Maybe they even evolved before us. But even if they did not we have no right to control life and death. Would we kill a pet (I think keeping pets are wrong) of ours? Would we make bloodthirsty mad dogs chase our rabbits and cats all over the place and kill them in the end? No! Why not?

These innocent creatures are killed just for fun! What sort of a crazy mad lunatic would watch dogs horrifically ripping open foxes for entertainment? Because it gives them joy? Because it gives them a feeling they can control life and death? Because it’s their hobby which they teach their children about and fill their minds with hate as well? These psychopaths are all inhuman murderers who all deserve to die.

Some people say foxes kill so they deserved to be killed. Humans kill so they all deserve to be chased down and massacred? Foxes kill for food, to survive. It’s the cycle of nature. They don’t kill for fun.

“It controls population.” This is what other idiots say. There are seven billion humans thickly populating the earth and taking up more than seventy percentage of land and they say fox hunting controls fox population. How ridiculous is that? Why don’t people start chasing down each other and kill them to control population? “Because foxes are vermin.” This is the claim of some other fox hunters. What do you define as vermin? Something that is not clean because they haven’t got showers in their caves? Something that kills for food to survive or risk facing extinction? In that case humans are vermin as well. Humans are a developed race and we should feel privileged instead of killing off ‘vermin’.

Others say that fox hunting serves farmers. They say it would help farmers grow their crops safely. Wouldn’t killing George W Bush serve us all? Couldn’t all the people in Iraq go about their daily lives feeling safe? Why isn’t anything done about him?

The next claim is that they can carry diseases. True, they do carry diseases. Which creature doesn’t carry disease? Fifteen thousand humans are infected with HIV AIDS every day. Why doesn’t anyone kill them? Why aren’t they all lined up and shot? Because they are humans. Foxes are massacred because they’re not human and people try to hide behind all these masks. All these excuses mentioned above. They chase and kill them because they ‘inhuman’ creatures.

Something desperately needs to be done about fox hunting. We cannot allow these massacres to continue. Those innocent foxes deserves better. They have as much right as anyone else to live. We clear their homes to make bars and pubs. Isn’t that enough. Do we have to chase down all those homeless foxes? Do we have to leave little foxes as orphans to starve in this wide, cruel world? No, we can stop all that by doing just one thing.

BAN FOX HUNTING!
