Physical Features
My Grandfather was six feet tall, while my Grandmother a mere four foot 7 inches tall. My Dad took after my Grandmother as being short and so did his sisters. The grandchildren on the other hand turned out tall like our Grandfather. I myself am sort like my Grandmother, but my brother and all my boy cousins are extremely tall at six feet or taller like our Grandfather. Brown hair seems to the dominant color of hair with brown eyes. It seems all of us Wilson’s tend to have a look when we are deep concentration. I have three generations of Wilson’s in individual pictures with all of us having that same look. One of my Aunts said it is just a born Wilson trait. My youngest son had the look when he was younger, but has seemed to outgrown it, while my oldest is just starting to have it.
Personality or Emotional Traits
My Grandfather, Father, one of his sister’s and myself are very straightforward people. What you see is what you get. My Grandmother was more of the soft-spoken type preferred not to cause problems. My brother and other Aunt tend to take after her. The one Aunt is out straightforward has two son’s one is like herself while the other is soft-spoken. My Aunt that is soft-spoken has all three of her children that are straightforward types as well. When it came to discipline my Grandmother was more of the disciplinarian then my Grandfather. So my Dad followed in his Mother’s footsteps and was the disciplinarian, now that had become my job with my own boys, even before I was divorced. My Grandparents made their own children show respect it was passed on down the line.
Three Generations of Wilson’s
My Grandfather was the oldest sibling in his family, my Grandmother was the middle sibling and only girl in her family, my father was the oldest followed by Glenda, Cathy, and his little brother who died Victor. My Dad’s children, I was my oldest biological daughter followed by my brother. My Aunt Glenda has three children boy, girl, boy, while my other Aunt had two boys. From what I understand all my Dad’s side of the family is 0+, I am the only 0- in the family. My Dad said he did know my real mother was 0+ as well. Brown eyes were the dominant eye color but the grandchildren range from brown, hazel, and blue. My Grandfather, Father, and one Aunt all have high blood pressure and diabetes. All the Wilson’s with exception of my Dad and I are right handed people. Both my Dad and myself can write with our left or right hand. One of us ran our hand through a meat grinder, while the other broke their hand roller-skating. (I will let you figure out who did what). No one in the Wilson family has senior, junior, or II added at the end of their name. My Dad did want to have his parents name and his brother’s name to live on so my Brother is named Victor Glen Wilson. First name is after our Dad’s deceased brother, middle name is our Dad’s father’s first name. Jana Lea Wilson (Lewis), middle name after our Dad’s mother, her name was Leeola.
Conclusion
For my children with heredity of high blood pressure and diabetes I worry if they too will succumb to these two horrible health issues. My boys Father and his Father both have high blood pressure so in order to change the future of health concerns for my boys a need to address the issue and try to better educate them to change things in their lives can break this cycle of poor health. Eating healthier and exercising can make the differences for them to hopefully break the high blood pressure and diabetes cycle.
