Unit 2 Evidence B The virtual shopping basket The following is a basic diagram of how the online order takes place, and how the products are placed in the virtual shopping basket. Internet connection This is how the online ordering process takes place. No matter how many items are added to the shopping basket, they can be viewed or items can be added on later. The user may save their shopping basket and retrieve it at a later time. They can return later in the day or even up to two weeks later and see their selections. Conclusion

After pressing continue to order checkout, the user should press add to basket, on clicking this, the final details of the product will be available, and the final payment details will be shown. Help facilities available Dell offer a lot of help facilities, they have a section where people can look for commonly asked question which have been answered. The users can also type in a question and dell will reply with the answer, a more personal way is to just email dell, and one of their personal advisors will help the user out. Another helpful tool available is the dell shopping assistant. This is an online tool only at the dell website which guides the user in buying a dell PC.
