Work Load is offered by Work Load Ltd, it's an established small Building business which sells there services across most of Torbay, The owner of Work Load is called Mr Gene, himself and a small group of builders work for the Business. It's based in Torquay, Devon. Mr Jane at the moment is concentrating on employing more builders, as at the moment Work Load is only a small business and has only employed several workers. Feasibility Report Statement Of Purpose The Perfect Pie Company is a small business in Barrow City Centre. The Perfect Pie Company avails customers with a range of pies, with a number of different fillings (cheese and onion, pork, meat, meat and potato and steak). Along with pies they provide a range of drinks, salads, and hot snacks for example, chips. All of which can be delivered to businesses and households throughout Barrow. Any changes made to orders can be done by calling into, phoning and lastly faxing the main office. Both sites within the Business (Main office + Kitchen) are situated five miles apart. The main office is in the centre of a business district, whereas the kitchen is five miles away in the middle of nowhere. The owner of the Perfect Pie Company and the administration staff are based in the main office, they have two computers, one is used by the owner, for keeping staff personnel records and recording the company accounts, and the other computer is used by the administration staff to keep records of all the orders made by customers, also to print out the invoices that are given along with the food and records of any payments that are received. The computer based at the kitchen site is used to keep records about customer orders and deliveries. The most common type of transactional websites offer goods such as books, electronics, and food. However there are also websites that offer other type of goods and services such as travelling tickets, downloadable games/software or online movies. In most cases these websites were created by large companies and supermarket chains, whereas there are also some where the general public can sell their own goods. This is a website that sells a variety of movies on DVDs. The website sells only movies on DVDs including mainly Hollywood and also a few Bollywood movies. PRESENTATION The Web site BASIC FEATURES Purpose and intended user The website was designed with the idea of promoting the business to present and potential customers of both Warley Painters and Builders. In particular I was trying to advertise the discount that would be offered to customers should they decide to get work done by the businesses. To do this the website not only includes images and testimonials of the business but also sound clips that give an inspirational feel. The introduction of flash animations gives the businesses a professional image. The introduction of a flash gallery allows the user of the website to get immersed into the website. To show the discount I have inserted a movie made from images of the work done by Warley Painters and builders into it. In the movie there are descriptions of the discounts available. The Warley Builders page displays were and when the presentation is to give customers information on the discounts offered. It also has a link to the AA for customers to be able to get there easily. Introduction There have been a number of burglaries in the area in which the Peterson family are living; thus they have become increasingly interested in Control Technology in their home. They have contacted me, and my task is to prepare a report, which advises them upon various alarm systems, also considering fire detection systems. I am going to provide the Peterson's with two reports, one outlining a basic security system for the family, and the other a more advanced top of the range system. This will give the family the necessary information to decide which system would suit their needs the most as well as being within their price range. Sensors Many different types of sensors could be used for various security and fire systems. There are sensors that detect movement, or a change in light, or temperature. Below is a list of some that could be used. These are: * Normal data- this is data that is correct and no faults during data entry. For example, entering the correct date. * Extreme data- this is data that is also correct but tests the boundaries of tolerance. For example, entering an extremely long name. * Erroneous data- this is data that is wrong and does not comply with the validation rules. For example, entering the wrong county. There are various tests that can be carried out. These are: * Integration testing- this is testing more than one aspect of the system. For example, testing if the macro to delete records work. * Unit testing- this is when a particular aspect of the solution is tested. For example testing if the formula to charge a fine works. Testing the system: The whole system will be tested following the test plan, which uses the different types of tests to ensure that the system works as intended, allowing HECs to carry out their daily activities with no errors as the tests that were carried out were mainly aimed at satisfying the clients requirements.
