The two films we chose were dances with wolves starring Kevin costner it was made in 1990 and the searchers starring john Wayne it was made in 1950 they both show

The native Americans stole the cattle's and the others went to find them so their families would be alone so they can kill them.

The cattle were stolen by native Americans and the white men went to find them and left there families behind then the native Americans went to kill their families.

This shows the native Americans are clever, cunning, sly, evil and they like to kill and are blood thirsty people and the white people are stupid and don't use there head.

The white man was looking for his niece for 5 years and when he found her he did not want to except her.

In the movie he found Debbie and he was going to shoot he because she betrayed him by working with the native Americans.

This shows he has no love for his family because he only cares about himself and no one else because his niece betrayed him.

Dances with wolves

There is a native Americans tribe which look evil.

In the movie they show a group (tribe) of people with paint on their faces and look angry and they also have spears in their hands.

This shows they are evil angry blood thirsty people and they have guts to kill people.

They are clever they have a leader.

in the movie when the tribe get together they talk to each other about everything and they have a leader to lead the group.

It shows they are clever and share there problems with each other and decide on what to do they do it together.

The pornese go to the village

In the movie the pornese go to the village and kill a man

This shows they will kill anyone and they kill people to tell others that they are in charge.

John is clever he always thinks of what he can do he thinks if he was under attack and did not have any weapons.

In the movie he is with the Indians and the others were coming to attack so they had no guns and they went looking for the weapon's he buried so they found them.

This shows he is clever and he thought to hide things he might need when he is under attack so he has things to protect him and his tribe it also shows that he looks after himself.

conclusion

The native Americans are represented in different ways in searchers the native Americans are the good guts and the others are bad guys and in dances with wolves they are represented equally there is good and bad but john Dunbar was a good guy and the soldiers were the bad guys john Wayne Kevin costner were famous film stars and people would be watching their movies because they are in it .in 1950 people would allow racism like in the searchers and in the 1990 people would not allow racism so in dances with wolves there was not a lot of racism. I have written about native Americans are represented in each movie I have wrote points and explained them in as much detail that is needed. In dances with wolves we see everything from Kevin costner point of view we know everything even his thoughts and in the searchers we don't get a clear view of what going on but we do get ideas of what's going on .so dances with wolves is more clearer
