Furthermore, the only source of light which is the sun may also cast doubt on another picture. As you know, if there is only one source of light, the shadow of the objects must be parallel. However, one of the pictures from the Moon showed that the shadows of the astronauts and the rocks were not parallel which is unusual. In other words, the crossing over shadows may suggest the existence of another source of light which casts doubt on the moon landing.
Finally, there were no stars in the photos from the Moon which may also make the moon landing seem suspicious. As you know, due to the surrounding atmosphere, we cannot see the stars clearly from the Earth. But there is no atmosphere on the Moon so the stars should be seen clearly from the Moon. However, we cannot see any stars in the photos that were taken on the Moon which suggests that we do not know the truth about the moon landing.
Unsupportable radiation and temperature
The second evidence which casts doubt on the moon landing that we are going to look at is the unsupportable radiation and temperature. The unsupportable radiation and temperature made difficulties for NASA to land on moon. However, the means NASA used to solve these problems were too simple to believe. Let us talk about the radiation first. There are radiation belts around the Earth which were called the Van Allen radiation belts. The radiation is too strong to pass through without six feet of lead to protect the astronauts. However, the astronauts landing on the Moon were only covered with a thin layer of aluminum which was not enough to protect them from the strong radiation. Even though the aluminum cover could have helped them to survive from the radiation, they would have had health issues when they came back but there were no reports about the astronauts having any such issues which was quite weird.
The unsupportable temperature also makes the moon landing seem unlikely to have happened. The highest temperature on the moon is 250 centigrade which is so high that the glass on the astronauts’ helmets, their spacesuits and even the roll film in the camera would have melted. So how could the astronauts have stood those harsh conditions and brought back the clear photos? Therefore, the possibility of the moon landing is challenged again.
The difficulties to control the LEM
The hard way to control LEM is also another point that refutes the claim that NASA landed on the moon. Before the moon landing mission, astronauts used LEM lander simulator for practice which was clearly unstable. In the Apollo 11 flight, which was shortly before the moon landing mission, Armstrong nearly died when he tried to land the simulator which showed the inherent instability of the LEM. Therefore it seemed impossible when he landed the actual LEM flawlessly on the moon with additional weight. Thus, how difficult it is to control the LEM also casts doubt on the NASA moon landing mission.
In conclusion, it seems clear that there are many doubts which argue against the moon landing: the pictures from the Moon, the unsupportable radiation and temperature and the difficulties in controlling the LEM. All of these need persuasive explanations. Therefore, before all the doubtful points have been explained, even there is only one doubt, whether the Americans really landed on the Moon is still uncertain.
