Speech persuading Year 11 students of the importance of revising now for their GCSE exams

Good morning Year Eleven students! Today, I stand here before you to prove three influential reasons why revising now for your GCSE exams is extremely important. I believe that we all have a purpose of being in school; exams are our purpose, so why is it immensely salient that we revise for it?

To begin, I'm going to introduce you to a student called Sarah Wilson, the proud owner of ten Grade Nine GCSEs. This is someone who revised well - who remembered to prepare abundantly before entering the battlefield of Maths, English, and Science. It had begun with a firm intention which developed into an ongoing timetable of revision and hard work. It is these limited and daily thirty minutes of revision, which carried her through to achieving the best of her abilities.

So how did Sarah revise well for her exams? Reminisce, firstly. We need to highlight the fact that you all should have been in education for about ten years by now; about two to three years studying GCSE subjects. However, can I ask you how much work you remember from these years? Not enough! By going over her revision topics, Sarah did not lose any required memory and could spend more time learning new topics that she might have been unsure of. You can do this too!
