        Dr. Love helped me so much.  She got me though three years of three surgeries, multiple doctor visits and x-rays, and 6 casts just by being someone that I could talk too.  She would ask me how I was dealing with not being able to do all the things that I loved.  I come from a family of sports and it was only natural that I would play something.  Softball was my life when I was younger, ad Dr. Love helped me realize that even if I didn’t get to play again there would be so much more for me to do.  She encouraged me to “look on the bright side” of things and to find other things that interested me.  I started reading more, got more focused on school, and realized that I liked to help people in need.

        I progressed so much and so fast that I even amazed Dr. Love.  Most people that have the kind of injury that I have never fully recover even with physical therapy.  I was extremely lucky to have the encouragement of Dr. Love and her staff to help me fully recover without physical therapy.  After the third year I was finally cleared.  I was finally able to be a kid again as Dr. Love put it.

        Dr. Love helped me realize what I wanted to do with me life from an early age.  She taught me that there’s nothing more satisfying then helping people get through something so difficult.  I realized that I wanted to be a nurse from her.  Even though a year after I was cleared I had more complications and I wasn’t able to go back to her, I was able to get through it even better than before because of her. I would just think of her and it would get me though some of the toughest times of m life.
