He worked hard to get a degree and get a job but then he eventually left his job to start his own business from scratch, and through it all his only friend Wasim stood by him. So now in his mid-thirties with a well-established business, he tried to give back to the community as much as he could. He had built mosques, shelter homes, orphanages and old homes for people. He advocated against the negative impact of plastic on the planet and the dangers of climate change.
He was a compassionate man who always saw the best in people so one day, when his old friend Wasim called out of the blue for a job, he hired him on the spot. Since Zayn knew Wasim from his childhood, he trusted him blindly and made him the head of the finance department in his company.
The first few months were great, Zayn’s business was flourishing or so he thought. He believed he was making bigger profits and having higher sales but he was happy that he had his friend by his side to share his success. But pone day, when he saw the accounting file, it shocked him that the numbers were incorrect. A large sum of money was missing from his company account and a lot of his clients were dissatisfied with his products. He started a thorough investigation about it and found out that Wasim was embezzling his hard earned money and had changed the quality of his products.
Though dejected that his friend could do something like this he took strict action against him and sent him to jail for fraud and theft just like he would’ve if it was any of his other employees. He had to sell a lot of his possessions to cover his losses and to gain the trust of his clients.
Even though, he went through a major setback personally and professionally, he still had faith that there are good people out there. He learned not to rely on people blindly but didn’t let his past experience cloud his judgment instead he took it as a learning experience for his future.
