Good conclusions usually refer back to the question or title and address it directly - for example by using key words from the title.
How well do you think these conclusions address the title or question? Answering these questions should help you find out.
- Do they use key words from the title or question?
- Do they answer the question directly?
- Can you work out the question or title just by reading the conclusion?
The aim of this project is to identify and discuss relevant Synergies, Dependencies, Vulnerabilities and Conflicts between Air Traffic Services and Airport Operations.
The interface between ATS and AO is a vital part of the Aviation System. Both these elements aim to promote safe and efficient air transportation. AO focus upon the transition of passengers and cargo to and from aircraft and airport whereas ATS focus upon the transition of aircraft between airports.
Air travel has increased rapidly during the past 30 years and will continue to do so. Air traffic control systems and airport operations have increased their role in the system and both most work effectively to ensure air travel safety. Airport capacity will continue to expand to accommodate for airport operations and aircraft and so the air traffic control system has to be efficient in dealing with the rise of movements.
Tourism has often been criticised for damaging the environment and undermining local cultures. To what extent Is this true in Hong Kong?
"Moreover, the reason why tourism undermines local cultures is tourists enjoy material comfort more than spiritual satisfaction. They realize that there are lots of cheap goods in Hong Kong and then rush into the shops and buy whatever they can without consideration. This forms a consumer culture. When they find something they have bought is useless, they will throw them away immediately. This definitely damages the environment and becomes a vicious cycle as time goes by.
To remedy the problem, the local government should implement some effective measures to make tourist industry more traditional and environmentally-friendly, for example, holding more traditional activities so as to attract tourists and let them know more about local culture. Education of tourists to be a responsible person in their home countries is extremely important. Although different countries have different rules and laws, 'When in Rome, do as Roman do', tourists should strictly follow the rules when they are traveling to Hong Kong or even other places. If they do not obey the law, they would receive heavy penalty and even imprisonment, no matter they are tourists who visit Hong Kong."
To investigate the environmental quality of Skipton and compare it to the EQ of Bradford.
The first hypotheses proved to be true as the EQ of Skipton was higher than Bradford's in total Skipton was 54 points higher than Bradford.
The second hypotheses was also proved correct as the further out of the CBD you go the EQ rises. For example in the CBD in Skipton the EQ for "Buildings" was 3 and in the outer city it was 5.
If I were to do this investigation again one of the things that I would change is the distance outside of Skipton I walked, In future I would perhaps walk another 600 paces so I walked a total of 2000 paces. I would also repeat this procedure throughout the week (every single day) to see how the results vary as, say for example on market day there are more people in Skipton that may leave litter and during the week someone from the council could have it arranged for the litter to be picked up. I believe that this will bring me more accurate results."
