In this assessment I will be looking at the layers of the forest, what lives in the Amazonian rainforest, what the climate is like, the causes of deforestation, the benefits and the disadvantaged of cut the forest down, how it will affect the weather and future and I will say what I think about the rain forest.

Task 1

The Amazonian rainforest is found in many countries as shown by the map.

It’s mostly in Brazil but is also found in: Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Peru, Bolivia and a bit of Argentina.

The forest is mostly wet as the graph shows and hot as the other graph shows, but it’s also full of many animals, so we have never seen. These are just some of the animals we known that live there:  jaguars, sloth’s, agoutis, anteaters, sac-winged bats, peccaries, tapirs, manatees, parrots, macaws, toucans, herons, great egrets, harpy eagles, crakes, anacondas, leaf toads, cane toads and  yellow and black poisonous frogs.

Also there are many plants here’s a few of them:  Bengal Bamboo, Arctic Moss, Balsam Fir, Fringed Sagebrush and Fern.

In the rainforest there are layers as shown. First there is the forest floor which is the earth. Then there’s the shrub layer which is where all of the leaves off the trees and the bushes are. Then there’s the under store or the under canopy which is where all the new trees are. Then there’s the canopy which is the fall grown normal size trees where most animals live. Then there’s the emergent layer which is where all the fall sized big trees are.
