All the way to Dubai, I could not sleep. I watched the In-flight movie on the tiny 5 inch screen. It was Disney’s Tarzan. It was good. The ride lasted for four hours. We stayed in a four star hotel which was nice. We mostly spent our time outside except at twelve o’clock because it was too hot. We spent most of the time shopping playing games.
That is how our week ended in Dubai.
We boarded a plane to India To visit my relatives who I have never seen before!
We landed In Bombay that in India it is called Mumbai.
We had to travel about 80 miles through mountainous region in order to reach the village. It seemed like ages but I slept through most of it.
The village was doing really well as it had been a prosperous year.
I met most of the locals and got on well. On the first week I didn’t venture out as much because it was too hot even in February. The second week I started playing games like football and cricket. I met my uncle who owned a large food chain.
He was building a mansion with five floors and marble every where.
I learnt how to ride a motorcycle but only in first gear.
While I was there I also learnt how to drive a Tata 4x4 which is like a jeep.
That’s how I ended my 2 weeks holiday. A customs officer asked to see what was in my hand luggage. He found nothing so I went on.
On the way back we had to stop over in Dubai. It was not too bad because it was only a 20 minute stop. As I was going on through the metal detector a loud ping sounded. They saw it was me, a child so I moved on.
The ride was enjoyable because I saw a ocean or sea as we were taking off. In the middle of the flight in saw huge snow capped mountains. I wished I asked which mountains they were. I think it was the alps. The Boeing 747 which I had sat twice on had cameras on the wings and one facing down. The mountains were shown in great detail on the little screen.
Back over England, Manchester I saw a intersection that was like a river with the cars moving like the water.
We landed but all was not going smoothly. The flight attendant asked everyone to be seated because the plane had landed in the wrong lane. The plane started reversing but then started going back to where it came from. Everyone was startled and the apologies started coming out of the intercom. Finally we got off and went home.
All in all it was a smashing holiday and I got the chance to watch Disney’s Tarzan four times.
