Hitler.
Possibly the most powerful man in the world at one point.
How did this come to be?
How did on struggling artist become the most powerful and most hated man in the world?
Simple.
He was a “genius”.
Despite the vibe of being a Hitler supporter, you will find that he was actually pretty smart, and if he tried not to become a megalomaniac, he would have been a fantastic leader.
Perhaps he was.
The Early Years
Adolf Hitler was born in April 20th, 1889, the 4th child of Alois Schickelgruber and Klara Hitler. There is rumors about his father, the most speculated was that Hitler’s father was actually a Jew, and also a illegal immigrant
When Hitler was 3 years old, the family moved to Passau, along the Inn River on the German side of the border. His brother, Edmond was born 2 years later. The family moved again, and his sister was born.
His housekeeper described Alois as “A very strict, but comfortable man”.
Young Adolf was showed with gifts and love by her mother.
As a young child he was spoilt rotten, by his mother, who was incapable of disciplining him, so he was given everything he wanted. As a pre-teen Hitler loved to shoot rats. He is recorded to have thrashed a dog in order to impress a girlfriend, with this behavior, he got the nickname “Wolf” - his dream was to enter “The Preisthood”.
The house he was born in is now a center of international understanding, as a warning of the prejudice and hatred regimes generated from such a man as himself.
By 1900, Hitler’s talent for art had become clear, and he was enrolled in a school called Realschule.
Hitler’s father died in 1903 after suffering pleural hemorrhage. Adolf suffered from lung infections and quit school when he was 16, his grades were suffering terribly, as he also had bad health which may be contributed to his grades.
The Artist Years
After Hitler’s father died, he moved to Vienna to pursue a place in a prestigious art school. He was rejected from the art school, various times. He lived on the streets, and called this period in his life as “The most miserable time of my life” Adolf lived in bars, abandoned houses, and shelters for the homeless.
It was at this time that he developed his ideas on how Germany should be run. It’s interesting to find out that 2 of Hitler’s closest friends during that time were Jewish, he also admired Jewish art dealers, and Jewish operatic performers.
During this time, Vienna was the center for anti Semitism at the time, the media was showing Jews, which seemed to have caught a bad vibe from Hitler.
He started hating Jews. This period was when we started to see more of the leader side of Hitler, and less of the artist Hitler.
