Lastly they can advertise on the internet.
Chosen solutions:
I have chosen Microsoft publisher to make the leaflets because this makes the company stand out and looks very professional. Microsoft publisher is also made for you to design newsletters, leaflets, posters, cards etc... So this makes it more reliable and easier to use.
Objectives:
- Mr smart wants all the pictures on the leaflet to be same size.
- Mr smart wants at least four special offers on each page.
- He wants two pages in total.
- There has to be a text box with information
- There needs to be a company logo.
- The company name and logo have to stand out.
- Leaflet should have shop location.
Analysis
Hardware:
- I will need the following hardware:
- A 3.06 processor because a slower processor is slower.
- A 4GB memory ram to enhance the computer
- A storage hard-drive with 2 GB capacity for transfer of files.
- A 25 inch monitor so I can see everything.
- A multi function printer, which includes fax, copier and scanner this will come in handy when I finish making the leaflet.
Software:
I will need the following software:
- Windows 7 because it’s the most advanced operating system
- Microsoft office 2010 because it’s the best software and it includes all Microsoft products.
- Microsoft publisher for the leaflet.
Data collection:
Mr Smart, the manager of the shop will be assisting me with all the information that is required to do my job. Such as in-depth product information of their products. E.g.: CD player value is £20 since last month. This will help me decide whether to leave it as it is, or put it in the sale section of the leaflet.
Data manipulation:
The newsletter will be two pages. The two pages will be separate because most people bin leaflets, but this way there are more chanced they might look at one. The leaflet will be portrait. The font size will be no bigger than 14 except for the important parts of the leaflet. The manager will provide me the pictures of the products. I will be manipulating the pictures by cropping them up to my required state. The leaflet will have text, with price on the products. Lastly the leaflet should have a map.
Data flow:
Outputs:
I have decided to use a 25 inch monitor for an output because the leaflet will appear on the screen, or I will email it to him. I will use an all in one printer to produce the leaflets.
Backup method:
I have chosen a USB because it is better than a CD or floppy disc as it is smaller and portable. USB will be locked in the company storage room in a safe which only the manager can access. The information will also be on my email address, this is just in case I loose my USB.
Security methods:
There are many different security methods; such as a security camera so no thief can get the information and an alarm, a password on the file, an anti virus to catch any computer hacker, the room to be triple locked at all times, with the key only with the manager.

Subtasks:
The tasks that I have to do in the correct order are:
- Design the news letter.
- Using the test plan run the tests
- Print the newsletter and send it to the user
- Receive user feedback
Implementation
User feedback:
Dear Haseeb Ali
I have seen your initial design and would like to thank you for a very good piece of work you have just about done the task I set you have unfortunately I am writing to you to let you know that it is not up to the highest standard that you can achieve. Firstly there is far too less colour, a leaflet is supposed to be bright and colourful, who would be interested in a dull leaflet. This has to be an attractive leaflet, so I want you to add colour. Secondly there are far too many pictures of the products. I only want maximum of four on each page. Lastly I want you to put more detail about the company, such as email address, phone number, address and the company slogan: “because you’re worth it”. Also there is a sale on so i would like you to add that along with special offer. Thank you and I look forward to receiving your attractive final designs.
You’re sincerely
Mr. Smart
P.S: a feedback box would be appreciated

EVALUATE
Evaluation against objectives
My leaflet has met all the objectives like on the first page of the newsletter it has the company name/logo at the top I made the logo by using a programme. The leaflet has text boxes and columns on the second page. All the pictures in the leaflet are the same size. The special offers are on last page of the leaflet. The leaflet is colorful and attractive, it also meets all the users objective which I was meant to achieve
User feedback critical and relevant
Dear Haseeb Ali
I have some good new and some bad new for you the good news is that I like way you have presented the leaflet it is set in a good way also it’s easy to read and to understand. . On the second page I liked the way you have put deals of the week and month this will obviously drag in the customer organized the columns the about us section is in the right place as in before it was not in the right place. I like the way how colorful the back ground is, and that all the picture’s are the same size, the company information is just right and all in all I think you have done a very good job and I am extremely impressed with your amazing work so thank you very much for that.
The bad news is that there is some confusion about the price of the item, I realize you have put the price on the item but not all the prices are in the same position on the item picture so please could you take this on board.
Once again thank you
You’re sincerely
Mr. Smart
Improvements to be made based upon user
The improvements in my leaflet would be make some minor features such as the price of the item more clear so that there is no misunderstanding
