I live in a small town called Whitton. It has a lot of atmosphere and a real sense of community spirit, particularly around the time of Christmas.

There is a lovely high street too, which has lots of cafe's and a tiny Supermarket and also a train station which is excellent because my friends and I can travel to London in half an hour! Very fast, easy and cheap also.

I love it where I live because the people are very friendly and it is very pretty: however, there is one big disadvange for me; there is no ice skating rink: and as I love to skate- this is very upsetting.

There are many reasons that young people should visit Whitton, for example, there are lots of youth groups and clubs where you can meet new people and learn to play different sports. As a tourist, it is worth seeing St Augustine’s church which is very old but beautiful, with stunning stained glass windows. I like this church a lot because it's pretty and special to me.

In town, there are two big sport centres with many facilities such as large heated swimming pools and a huge dancing studio where you dance different styles called "Zumba." There are 2 parks: one that is great for watching animals and the nature- if you like animals, and the other one is great for youth and children; there are swings and slides where everyone can have a good time.

Although I like my town very much, I would like to have a more variety of shops, as at the moment there are too many hairdressers and charity shops ...
