A Healing Mirale : The Raising of Jairus Daughter.
Question1
The healing miracle I will choose to write about is the Raising of Jairus' Daughter.
Jesus had just returned from the country of the Genasenes. In the crowd that gathered around Jesus, there was a man called Jairus. Jairus was a ruler of one of the local synagogues.
Jairus' daughter was very ill; he pleaded with Jesus to cure his little girl, who at this time was lying on her sick bed at home, dying. On the way to Jairus' house, Jesus cured the woman with the haemorrhage.
Before they arrived at Jairus' house, they received a message saying that the daughter had died while they were on the way to cure her. But Jesus said to Jarius not to worry but to have sufficient faith. He took Peter, James and John into the house where the girl was surrounded with people crying and wailing in their distress. When Jesus said the girl was only sleeping, all of the people laughed at him.
Jesus, turned the people out of the house except the parents and the three disciples. Then he turned to the girl and he told her get up immediately. The girl got up immediately. She got up; this showed that the parents had enough faith to believe in Jesus to bring back their daughter.
The nature miracle I will choose to write about is The Calming of the Storm.

The nature miracle I will choose to write about is The Calming of the Storm.
Jesus and his disciples were sailing across the Sea of Galilee. Then Suddenly a ferocious storm occurred, and waves began to spill over into the boat, so that it was about to fill over with water. Jesus was at the back of the boat having a sleep. The disciples who were worried at this point, so they woke Jesus up and said, 'Teacher, don't you care that we are about to die?'
Jesus stood up and commanded the wind to stop, he said, 'Be quiet!' and he said to the waves, 'Be still!' The wind died down, and there was a great calm. Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Why are you frightened? Have you still no faith?'
But they were terribly afraid and said to one another 'who is this man? For even the wind and the waves obey him!'
To Jesus, in this story, speaking to the wind and waves is like trying to speak to an evil spirit, and the wind and waves are trying to destroy the good, which is Jesus. Again this story focuses on faith.
The exorcism I will choose to write about is The Epileptic Boy.
A huge crowd gathered round, when people heard it Jesus was coming to see what was the matter, they rushed over to greet him. Some Teachers of the Law were arguing with some of the disciples, Jesus asked what were they arguing about.
A man in the crowd shouted out, 'Teacher, I brought my son to you, because he has an evil spirit in him and cannot talk. Whenever the spirit attacks him, it throws him to the floor, and he foams at the mouth, grits his teeth, and becomes stiff all over. I asked your disciples to drive the spirit out, but they could not.'
Jesus said to them, 'How unbelieving you people are! How long must I stay with you? How long do I have to put up with you? Bring the boy to me!' They brought the boy to Jesus.
As soon as spirit caught sight of Jesus it threw the boy into a fit. Jesus asked the father how long has the boy been like this? The father said he had been like this ever since he was a child, he also said that the spirit has tried to kill him by throwing him into the fire and into water. The father then said to take pity on them and help them if he possibly could.
Jesus said 'Yes, if you yourself can! Everything is possible for the person who has faith.' The father replied 'I do have faith but not enough. Help me to have more!'
Jesus noticed the crowd gathering, so he ordered the spirit to come out of the boy. The spirit screamed, and threw the boy into a bad fit; it looked like the boy had died. But Jesus took the boy by the hand helped him to his feet.
After Jesus had gone indoor, the disciples asked Jesus why could not they drive the spirit out. He answered 'Only prayer can drive this kind out, nothing else can.'
