Euthanasia

A1 – What is Euthansia?

Euthanasia means when someone wants to die because they have suffered too much stress or any form of pain. It can also mean the act or practice of killing painlessly. There are three forms of Euthanasia, they are:

Compulsory

Voluntary

& Suicide

Compulsory

This is when either doctors or relatives are able to make decisions for the patient. The most published form of this euthanasia is the Nazi doctors in their ‘death camps’ during World War II.

There was a case of compulsory euthanasia, of a victim named Tony Bland; he was one of the many Hillsborough Stadium victims who suffered an enormous amount of brain damage. He was unable to live without a life support machine, as well as being unconscious. One of the organizations opposed to Euthanasia were The Roman Catholic Church. They believed that all life was sacred and none was to be taken away or given up, doing so would mean permanent murder to one’s self, meaning it would a grave sin.

They believe all human beings should be restricted from causing or having an early death from to any person. The Roman Catholic Church revolves around the teachings of the Bible, including many other main churches, however, not all churches do not oppose to Euthanasia in a serious manner.

There is a society that believes that Voluntary Euthanasia is an independent choice to do, they are called The Voluntary Euthanasia Society. They believe the human race has an independent choice to decide the human race whether or not they should participate in the offered Euthanasia. This will allow a direct decision ...
