Aim:

 I am investigating how the concentration of Hcl is affecting its reaction with sodium thiosulphate.

Prediction:

 As the concentration of Hcl increases the rate of reaction will increase. The rate of reaction will increase because there are more particles, and therefore more the chance of collision with the thiosulphate particles.

Apparatus:

  • Measuring cylinder.
  • Beaker.
  • Bunsen burner.
  • Thermometer.
  • Hcl.

When the particles of reactants collide with each other, reaction between Hcl and thiosulphate takes place.
