I would not like to visit borneo, my reasons for not wanting to visit there is because of all the horrible animals that are everywhere like the elephant ant with sounds disgusting, like when it says in the passage “deciding that anything so huge must be the elephant and” ant the sentence “ Elephant and this time with huge massive pincers”. Also i don't like the sound that some of the animals do, it really weird and worrying like when an animal goes “EEEEEE-AI- YACK YACK YACK!” And I hate rates so i really don't want to be encountered by a “long tailed giant rat”. i also don't like the that it describes everything as large creatures, for example these three sentences “elephant ant” “giant cicada” and “long tail giant rat” I don't like the things that the people have to use staying there because they have to use” he rubbed himself down with a wet towel. Would not like to go there as well because of all the different unknown animals like the ‘sun bear” ‘civet” and the “cicada” Over all I would not like to go to borneo because it sound dangerous and scary and he deliberately puts in exotic animals and all the sounds they make to rely give it a relay good atmosphere. The only way I can think of going there is just to see all the animals HOLIDAY SIR? THAT IS A RUBBISH HOLIDAY, GOOD BY!

Beijing does not sound to me like a nice place to visit, you could split Beijing into two types of place. first is the scenery, the place is very scarily populated places “a hundred acres of emptiness” and also densely populated “three or four families would be living there”. It also sounds like it is a very poor place and conditions are very bad “courtyard littered with panniers potted shrubs, bicycles bird cages”, “bare living rooms and kitchen, there walls of glass and latched wood were thin as paper” and “smells of urine and rotted fish hovered in a stuffy air. The other side to beijing is the people, so many people are poor and try to sell you worthless goods. some have horrible ways of trying to persuading you to buy there rubbish like ” he thrusts his face closer to mine” and the way acts and looks like “he looked dangerously uncoordinated”. Overall I would not like to go there because I would not like to to give my money away and I would not like to be bothered by loads of poor people and beijing sees really boring. HOLIDAY SIR? HMMM LETS THINK.....NOPE

DEATH IN VARANASI

varanasi is the most disturbing place of the three travel writings. Varanasi is totally different to england, firstly health, there holy river the Ganges is so unhealthy, the water is undesirably dirty, nearly everything is dumped there from house rubbish to dead people and animals “dirty water due to rubbish. Cremations, in england people have funerals where people cry over loved ones. Not in Varanasi, people have open cremations and they don't even cry about there loved ones “the dying embers of five or six open cremations”. also when the die they either put them in the river or sand “human corps are left in the sand”, and also that disturbed me was when in the passage he says he sees a young kid being transported to be dumped into the water “later, i saw a the body of a young child being transported somberly the same way Nearly everywhere you go in England there is at least one public toilet, i Varanasi there are no public toilets. Its not people that are dumped in the river but the animals “Floated a headless lump of dead dog” I would never go to varanasi because be sick for all the holiday” HOLIDAY SIR? NO WAY I’D RATHER PLUCK OUT MY EYEBALLS AND EAT THEM!!
