Understanding customer “though very difficult as customers belong to different regions and they are separated into different social sectors. But however, a complete survey of the market in which you are dealing can provide a better knowledge about your customers.” Therefore, Kings Hotel wants to understand the form and nature of their customer’s so that they can launch a better promotional strategy to attract a larger clientele. For this, the hotel requires a complete market survey and research to gain accurate and better knowledge. For this purpose below a complete plan for the research is provided that makes the things more clear for the hotel.
Research Design and Methodology
I will employ the descriptive research design to elaborate necessary information, to know the information of the present existing condition description method is most useful and must be utilize. The description method will provide proper portrayal, analysis, presentation, interpretation and findings of the research topic. Moreover, the description methodology will help to gather the first hand data.
In this methodology the comparative survey of description research design will be employed by the use of questioners that will derived the primary data. Comparison of the data will assess the benefit and effectiveness for King Hotel in providing the more useful information to launch a promotional strategy.
Primary research
This is the first hand research carried out by you. It involves “the findings through various methods and techniques that enable you to find out the results.” The canvasser uses usually simple survey of the market and questioner techniques. In this research article I have taken the questioner technique to find out the results.
Use of Questioners
Henry Mintzberg stated that Questioner includes alternative question holding variables. Some variables are independent and some are dependent on the other independent variables. These two variables are then used to find out the aim of the research. For questioner technique, we have decided to send the questioner to different customers; tourists and visitors to know that what actually they need and want in their hotel services which would satisfy them. Their needs and wants are their requirements that are noted to provide a better knowledge. Through this new appreciation we can launch a promotional strategy that will appeal to these customers and tourists. The promotional strategy after a complete research will be more useful and efficient, as it will hunt the customer’s in a more suitable way.
Secondary Data
The secondary data is the “information that is taken from other research papers.” These research papers might be the companies profile, a book or any research paper conducted by a second person. There could be many ways to gain this secondary information and this may help you to provide sufficient information for your research work.
Use of survey
A survey report involves a review of the specific market in which you are dealing. The survey of the market can be performed in various different ways. The survey for the Kings hotel aims to achieve the maximum information possible through knowing different knowledge’s. For instance, knowing the visitor’s and customer’s places, from where they are coming, will provide the type and nature of the customers. Moreover, what kind of tourists mostly visited, their nature and their needs will present information that what extra the hotel must do to satisfy and attract more customer’s.
Key Tasks
The research study will consist of 5 chapters. The background of the topic, the purpose, its objectives, the importance of the research topic and the research problems will which be the part of the introduction. The very first chapter will be the literature review, the gathering of the acceptable information on the research topic. The second chapter will be the methodology and the design of the research paper that is used during the research. Moreover, the description of participants, sampling technique and the research instruments that are utilized during the research will be discussed in this chapter. The third chapter is going to describe the analysis and interpretation of the collected data. The fourth chapter will primarily focus on the findings of the third chapter. The final chapter will summarize the final conclusion made from the findings and analysis. I will try to make available the most comprehensive way of relating the research paper by the use of different graphs and tables.
