2) Acute stress is less serous it can be triggered by intense pressure, such as death, divorce loss of employment and serious illness. Recommendations * Employers should show employees that they are appreciated in the work place and that they are a valued member of the team. * A career structure and development program should be introduced. * Terra firma should look into hiring of stress councillors, which will not only benefit individuals in the work place but also in terms of Terra Firm's profitability. * Terra Firma should provide correct posture and positioning equipment for workers this is so that employees do not have sick absences from work, due to the fact that it would cost the company heavily for sick pay absent when they are added up. * Jobs should be designed so that staff move away from terminals and do other tasks.
