Introduction to Levi's jeans Denim jeans grew very popular on the markets through the 1960's and 1970's. Levi's jeans became very popular and the jeans became (as they said) the international uniform. Then a big shock hit the Levi's company, the 15-19 year olds thought of Levi's jeans as "my dads jeans".
