Denim jeans grew very popular on the markets through the 1960’s and 1970’s. Levi’s jeans became very popular and the jeans became (as they said) the international uniform.

     

Then a big shock hit the Levi’s company, the 15-19 year olds thought of Levi’s jeans as “my dads jeans”. The sale for Levi’s dropped instantly and they had to find a way to make Levi’s popular again and make the teenagers buy them.
