Existentialism in philosophy means man's accidental occurrence in the world that means nothing to him.

Existentialism as in educational philosophy to do with relating the educational experiences to the individuals (student's) human rights, putting in consideration that there is freedom of morality and that values are those acceptable to the individuals no to the society as a whole.

Thus a student has got to learn what isappropriately desirable to him as he/she approaches the environment.

If I were asked to recommend existentialism in Uganda system, i would consider the following,

Man is free and has independent reasoning so he has to utilize the natural freedom that he has by determining his own curriculums.

So Uganda's education system should be made flexible and adjustable so as to accommodate all the learning experiences of different individuals who have got different aspirations, tastes and preferences.

Following the Socratic ideas of education, which suggests that a learner to be put in the center of the learning activity.

This is one of the most effective methods of teaching, because the learner learns his experiences only to be directed by the teacher as guide.
