"Study history, study history. In history lies all the secrets of statecraft."
-Winston Churchill
History is the study of everything that humans have recorded, whether it be the chronicle of a bloody revolution, or the diary of a woman in RenaissanceFlorence. But no matter whether you want to study ancient history, modern history, or something in between, most university-level history work requires the same skill set. Historians have to be able to wade through piles of books and letters, find a connecting idea, and write it down in a compelling way.
That's no easy task, especially when you're expected to write quickly. So whether you need to prepare for the deluge, or just keep your head above water, Marked by Teachers' collection of teacher-marked history papers are your lifeboat. Before you write, come here to read, examine, and learn. You'll soon gain a teacher's critical eye, and you'll know how to best write and edit your own papers.
After you finish your degree, you might continue on to become an academic historian, or do a higher degree in a related field like art history.Alternately, you might leave academia in favor of careers in politics, law, teaching or business.
