There are many facts supporting the truth that the Holocaust happened, and a result of it caused pain and suffering to the Jews. But with all the evidence given to me, I didn’t find any information to make me think otherwise.
Films, photographs, and diaries, all gave the proof of the Holocaust.
One film, made by Sydney Bernstein and Alfred Hitchcock, delivered the agonizing aftermath of the Holocaust; he named it ‘The Painful Reminder’. Sydney Bernstein made very sure that all the scenes that he filmed, were scenes which could not be seen as fakes. He filmed the mayor and governors stood watching the guards dragging each body across the field like empty sacks. He also filmed long shots of the fields, at different angles, to show that no matter how far you went back, the picture would be the same.
There are many pictures that also show the humiliation that the prisoners went through, having to walk around in public completely stripped of their dignity. In my opinion, I really couldn’t imagine some-one gathering hundreds of people, stripping them naked and taking pictures of them, just to make up that Hitler, a great ruler of Germany, ‘killed’ them.
A story such as this, The Holocaust, is not any that a person could dream or even think about.
Hitler, although he seemed a very intelligent man, did very little to hide the truth. In his published diary, Hitler stated that
‘As a devoted Christian, I see that after nearly 2000 years, that Jesus was killed because of the black magic and pure evil of the Jews, I believe that they should be punished. As a Christian I am going to stand for my rights, and destroy Germany of Jews.’
Yet later on, he says,
‘As a Christian, I watch my people day after day, work and work and toil and labour. When I take my morning walk, I would not be a Christian but the very devil himself, if I looked into their eyes and felt no pity for them’
Why say such things? Are we all not God’s children? However, he put so many people, in such torture and mortification, and still called himself a devoted Christian.
Other proof, such as Auschwitz, a camp still standing today, still has the incinerators and gas chambers, which one day, killed hundreds of thousands of innocent lives. A place where all over the world, has become a symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust.
Local citizens of the town of Auschwitz, living nearby the camps could hear the roaring sound of the incinerators and ash would fall from the sky-ash from the charcoaled bodies of those prisoners.
In Schindler’s List, a clip shows the ash falling like snow, it matted itself on top of the cars and would shock the nearby citizens, making them wonder and questions what all this really was, and what it was causing.
Another clip in Schindler’s List, showed a red coated toddler, running away, trying to hide from becoming captured, this portrayed that innocent lives were at stake.
Clip’s from video’s such as this, aren’t ones that are normally taken lightly.
They are one’s that have been lived by real people, who had a real fear, and weren’t likely to lie about the trauma they went through.
There are many stories which back up the Holocaust happening. But then again, there are many Holocaust deniers that seem to have one argument or another. From what I heard were Jonnie’s excuses, nobody would actually believe them, because he was clearly unsure whether what he said was true or not. Many Pictures, many written pieces, and many films taken during that time, all show a for argument towards the Holocaust.
I think that the Holocaust deniers are just people who find it hard to accept that Hitler failed, many innocent lives were destroyed and all information shows what pain and suffering the Jews truly went through.
