For two and a half years, Oswald lived in the USSR, where he trained in the marines. Here, Oswald would learn different skills and learn how to spy, assassinate and most importantly, how to use a gun and plan operations. This shows us that he has the ability to use a gun and potentially plan an operation like the one that occurred on November 22nd. Oswald possessed a forged identity, under the name of ‘Alex. T. Hidell’, with this he bought a Mannlicher Carcano rifle, which was the gun found on the sixth floor of the book depositary, which is where the shots were said to have come from. Not only did Oswald by the gun with a forged identity but it was bought by mail order and sent to a PO Box, this means that no one has his address or identity, this looks extremely suspicious on Oswald’s half. Further more, once the president was shot, Oswald rushed of from the crime seen, which is not something which an innocent man would run away from; after all it was the president of the US. This makes him look even guiltier.
As the president, his wife, Governor Connally and even the vice president slowly moved through Dallas, thousands of people welcomed him. As Oswald worked in the book depositary he had the perfect opportunity to use the depositary as a point to assassinate JFK. Oswald was also seen inside the book depositary, coming down the stairs from the 6th floor by a police officer, this looks almost too convenient. As the shooting was said to be from the sixth floor in the book depositary, when the police searched the floor they found Oswald’s gun between some of the boxes, not only this, but also Oswald’s finger and hand prints were found on the gun.
To conclude, Lee Harvey Oswald had the mind and the experience in order to assassinate JFK. With the motives, the ability and the opportunity, there are powerful reasons to believe that Oswald did assassinate John. F. Kennedy (1961 – 1963).
