Compare two film trailers, paying particular attention to the techniques used to capture the attention of the audience

Trailers are used in the film industry to try and help the sale of a film. It is used to persuade the audience that would like to see the film. They usually appear before a film or as an advert on the television. Trailers are the main way of showing people what the film is about without letting them actually see the film. Trailers are much better then just a review of the film because they allow the audience that might want to see what they think of it instead of just relying on one persons opinion. A good trailer usually edits from one part of the film to another very quickly just giving you the very outline of the story without giving you the details in the story so you will go and see it to see what it is about. The two trailers that I will be comparing will be Jurassic Park: The Lost World and GI Jane. These trailers are a good contrast because while they still have some comparisons they are quite unlike each other.
