• Anti-discrimination

Children have the right not to be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, racial origins, culture, social background or disabilities. Children learn prejudice from their earliest years, and must be provided with accurate information to help them avoid it. Children and their parents have the right of support if they are objects of prejudice and/or discrimination.

• Celebrating diversity

Children have the right of help to develop their sense of identity within their race and culture.

• Confidentially

Children have the right of confidentially. Information about children or their families shouldn’t be shared with others without the permission of the family, except in the interest of protecting the child.

• Effective communication

Children have the right to be supported by effective communication when in care. Also the right to be talked to properly and effectively, it is no use trying to have a formal interaction with a child.
