ARMY It all began when Peter and I were sitting in the shade opposite our tents, talking about all the wonderful things we had in life. He seemed very contented, as he was going home early. He was saying how fortunate he was, as time went by not noticing it was nearly dawn we saw two strange looking birds, Peter went to investigate even though I warned him not to, as there may be great danger ahead. But he ignored me as he usually does, as he got a clear view of them he screamed, "MASKS!" It was like as if my body was cursed, I stared as the military planes polluting the atmosphere with its horrifying gas. ...read more.

Middle

combination of purple and red, at this stage he found it hard to breathe, I watched cautiously as he took his last breath and flew out the night less sky. It was over; it was finally over. It just seems like yesterday since we were talking, but why Peter? What did he do wrong? The most thoughtless thing was the general; he said he died with honour by fighting for his country. What honour? An honour in which you sell your soul, an honour, where you give something priceless for something valued for nothing. Conclusion

It's just not fair all those innocent people dieing for no justification, as they are left laying in the war yard rotting day by day. Some don't even get buried. We only get fed once a day, which I wouldn't even call it a starter it's only a small piece of bread with some milk, commander calls it a big feast! I want to come home, but commander says we will soon, if I was not mistaken I could have sworn he said those 2 months ago. Each day that goes by I still hear Peter's cry. It's something that won't go away it's going to stay within me, his pain and agony arrh!
