Romeo Character Study

Benvolio means that he has a close relation to him. As he is so Love sick Benvolio and Mercutio tries to gatecrash the Capulet Ball to see Rosaline. He then meets the woman of his dreams, Juliet and forgets about Rosaline. The moment he sees Juliet he feels instantly in love with her. He then flirts with her Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too? This shows has very romantic, vibrant and passionate. Through the evening he is active and courageous as he tries to risk his life by going to the Capulet house to see Juliet. Although he knows that Juliet is a Capulet Is she a Capulet? O dear account! My life is my foes debt. Despite that both their families are enemies he is willing to do anything to be with his one love. He is in love and nothing can get in the way of that. Romeo is an adoring and loving kind of person. In Act2 Scene2 Juliet appears aloft at the window while Romeo is at the bottom. This is one of the most famous parts in the play. They both talk to each other in a loving and affectionate way as they flirt with each other. Romeo describes Juliet as A winged messenger of Heaven. He seems like a sensitive, caring and affectionate boy who never gives up on anything that he truly deeply feels for. On the other hand Romeo is irresponsible or impulsive, for wanting to get married right away and not thinking about the consequences. This also shows determination, as he really wants to show how much he loves his Juliet. But some people conclude that Romeo wants Juliet because he wants make love to her.
