Dear Diary

        I really don’t know where to start from, a couple of days ago I asked Friar to marry me to Juliet but he was very unwilling at first as he believed that this would end up as it did with Roseline. He said to me,

“Holy saint Francis, what a change is here!

Is Roseline, thou didst love so dear,

So soon forsaken? Young men’s love then lies

Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes.”

Friar thought that I would forget about Juliet once I’ve seen another girl, this was not the case as she is the only one I love and will love for the rest of my life. After a while Friar decided that he would marry us as he believed that there might be a slight chance of this family war coming to an end.

         The day had come we met up with Juliet at the church, Juliet was looking beautiful, beautiful than any other girl in the world. After our procession Friar gave us some valuable advice on how to help our marriage,

“These violent delights have violent ends,

And in their triumph die like fire and gun powder,

Which as they kiss consume. The sweetest honey

Is loathsome in his own deliciousness

And in the taste confounds the appetite.

Therefore love moderately, long love doth so;

Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow.”
