I left my independence and life at the flat, and still you throw me to the wolves?!?! Naraian: What could I have done? You make it seem a crime that my mother tries to keep you well fed, to take care of you and the baby! Cathy: But...they pick at every little detail of my life. Conclusion

Naraian: (Crying) she's gone. Mother: Cathy has gone?!?!?! O son (hugs Naraian) Naraian: It was inevitable, my ideals, for the country, for our freedom and independence, I lost them. I can only blame myself for this. In England I was different, but I seem to have abandoned Cathy in this alien culture. I wish we'd stayed in England. She was right the flat was perfect for usthe sweeper lady was nothing but kind, and I hate to say it but, my mother has been nothing but a brute. Cathy I love you. I'm sorry. (Sudden realisation) How could she?!?! She has taken my child, even if she thinks she has done it for the best!
