“Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night”
A spectacularly original and extremely entertaining film “The Truman Show” directed by Peter Weir (1998) where Jim Carrey plays Truman Burbank, a man who lives in a perfect world with a perfect job and a perfect wife. Little does he know that his life is the center of a 24-hour widely popular television show known as The Truman Show. He is surrounded by actors in one huge dome studio and is constantly watched by a variety of cameras, which are hidden throughout the city. In this film Truman suffers the loss of his father from a boat accident in his early child hood, and has blamed himself ever since. Without knowing it was all a complete set up Truman carries on with his life like a normal human being not knowing that his father was still out there playing the role of a homeless man. Throughout this film many emotional and dramatic scenes happen.
