Create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, which could help me publicize Deal Academy for the Performing Arts (DAPA).

Introduction

Multimedia Project Task 1 My idea is to create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, which could help me publicize Deal Academy for the Performing Arts (DAPA). I would like to spread information about the academy, so that I could possible interest some new people into joining. There are many enjoyable things to participate in, but not many people know about the group, as it is not widely advertised. I think that my idea is quite good, mainly because I am a member of DAPA, so it will be easy for me to collect information on the academy. I also know quite a lot about the teachers, so I could include writing and pictures of them. There will be enough to make a packed project about, as there are so many different classes to discuss - from adult tap to infant drama. I can also include information on past shows, as I have taken part in several. Here are some ideas for the project: * Teacher profiles - I could do separate pages for some of the teachers at DAPA. I could discuss what they teach, their experience and more. * The classes available - I could give information on the different classes that can be taken. This would include teachers, what takes place and more. * Past shows - I could talk about some of the different shows DAPA have taken part in. ...read more.

People often ignore newspaper adverts, or only go to particular sections of the newspapers which would not have a DAPA advert. There are no immediate links. Television advert Short adverts could be filmed and shown on television, including information. Like newspapers, lots of people watch television. But television would be more successful, as people often watch anything in between programmes. The channel could easily be changed during the adverts, and it would be very expensive to make a television advert. The links would not be there immediately. Radio advert Adverts could be recorded and played, with information for listeners. Radio advertising is well known for having a positive affect, so it would be a good idea. People often listen to the radio, so the advert would get heard. The immediate links would not be available, and people might change the station during the adverts. Also, people often ignore the adverts. PowerPoint presentations They could be put in places with computers, could be with mouse or touch screen. These usually look very attractive and are fun to use, so people would find them interesting and want to know more. They have immediate links to information on DAPA. These are not easily viewed unless there is a computer to access. Web pages Could give out the address, people could visit and get information. The internet is very easy to access, so a web page could be viewed lots. Web pages are very useful for dispersing information. Immediate links. ...read more.

Conclusion

For example, I will have to ask the teachers a few questions for their profiles, and I will also need to have some information such as costs etc. Equipment The hardware required for the system would be: * An IBM compatible 600Mhz processor * 600 x 470 VGA minimum desktop resolution at 255 colours or higher * 1-5MB free disk space * 4MB graphics card * 3.5" floppy drive (for external transportation and copying of presentation) * 2-buttoned mouse * Keyboard * Printer (optional) The software required for the system would be: * Microsoft Windows( 3.1, NT, 95, 98, 2000 or XP * Microsoft Office( 97 or later Data The type of data items needed - Pictures, text, information, links. The method of data capture that will be used - I will find pictures from photographs and the internet. I will write the text myself. I will get information for the dance centre, web pages and leaflets. I could make links to web pages. I will cover data security/backup by protecting it with a password. This would only allow people who knew the password access to the original data. Documentation The type of documentation needed - A user to guide to tell people how to use the system, and a technical guide telling them how to change it. The people needing it would be the ones who wanted to update the system, if prices/teachers/times etc changed. Rosie Callister 11A ...read more.

Below are a few pictures which I have found searching through the net. The above site was accessed through google.com by typing in football wall papers in the search engine. Working my way through the above site I found several good pictures which would be suitable for my website.

This would be very good for such a guide as the fans could search through the information available to them by following the menus on each screen. Databases are very powerful programs, however, and it may seem like an overload to try and use such a system for a problem such as this.

Or there is the possibility that they survey certain number of the public and ask about their points about their evaluation of the DVLA forms or there web page. I believe that this information is presented to the bosses in a meeting where they discuss the issues regarding the survey.
